Chelenalp–Bergsee alpine traverse
Notice: The Chelenalp operator reports the suspension bridge above the hut and all hut-path bridges dismantled. This traverse starts above the hut and crosses several streams; confirm passage and bridge conditions with the hut team before travel. The qualified line is a summer informational reference, not current-access clearance. Source read 2026-10-24.

Chelenalp–Bergsee alpine traverse
Notice: In its general summer route description, the SAC describes several stream crossings and potentially hazardous old snow in early summer. Snow patches can have steep runouts and present sliding or collapse hazards. An ice axe or telescopic poles may be useful in those conditions.
