Notice: The operator reports special overnight-parking arrangements for hut guests from18August2026: in zones1 and2, buy the daytime ticket and display the reservation confirmation overnight, printed or written on paper. The ticket machine is unavailable22:00–04:00; buy through22:00 on arrival and the corresponding next-day time before departure, including the hours already parked.

Notice: Historic path renovation near Scherpfenberg may delay pedestrians; bicycles are prohibited on that path and no diversion is available according to the operator.

Notice: The operator announces that the road from Habkern to Lombachalp is closed from2November through18December2026 because of Hammoos road renovation; vehicles can only reach Habkern village.

Notice: The road to Alp Ällgäuli has a general driving ban; exceptional transport of materials or mobility-impaired people may be allowed, with the vehicle subsequently parked at Schwarzbach.

Notice: Sleeping: Mattresses, pillows and wool blankets supplied; own cotton or silk liner compulsory.

Water: Summer checklist describes the fountain in front of the hut and stresses that water in the Hohgant area is scarce.

Water: Winter checklist says the fountain does not flow in winter and directs guests to cistern water in the cellar.

Notice: For winter ascent/descent, the operator asks visitors to follow the violet marker poles to avoid disturbing wildlife in the protected area.

Booking method: Summer and winter use require advance registration. Both hut and winter room are locked and entered with the reservation access code.

Payment: Register each person/category and consumption in the hut book even for exclusive groups; pay cash to the till, by bank payment or TWINT.
