About this hut: A seasonal, self-catering hut in the Vallon des Morteys within the Vanil Noir reserve, beneath the high Fribourg summits. Pro Natura owns the former cattle hut, operated by CAS La Gruyère. The owner describes a family-suitable access; that does not turn the separate T3/T4 inter-hut approaches into easy walks.

Bedding: Bring a light sleeping liner and a pillowcase to protect the duvets and pillows
Notice: Guest kitchen is for overnight visitors. Day visitors may prepare fondue at the table with hut equipment. Soup and drinks, no à la carte meals; picnics with drinks bought at the hut. Weak mobile reception, no Wi-Fi; take own waste down. Dogs are not permitted in the nature reserve.
