Mountain hut
About this hut: A small self-catering refuge in the Trient massif, managed by the SAC Diablerets section among the Trient alpages. The operator describes a quiet location with sunrise views toward the Trient glacier; those are hut context, not a scenic endorsement of the access trail.
Notice: The published 2026 opening period is 15 June–9 October. Outside the opening period there is no emergency room. The general pattern is mid-June to mid-October. Source read 2026-10-25.
Notice: This is a demanding T3 mountain approach outside the official hiking-path network, marked mainly by cairns and intended for experienced, well-equipped mountain walkers. Access is summer-only. Source read 2026-10-25.
Notice: The operator instructs walkers to use the provided rope handrails, check footbridge stability, and turn back if in doubt. Do not ford the torrent when a footbridge is missing. Source read 2026-10-25.
