The whole first stage climbs from its original Haldenstein start to Calandahütte. The optional further ascent of about800metres to the Haldensteiner Calanda summit is separate and is not included. This is one complete day stage; the original three-stage parent remains incomplete because the other whole stages retain mapping gaps.
