Sardona-Welterbe-Weg · stage 5 · Sardonahütte–Elm

1 of 1 stages mapped · reference itinerary

From Sardonahütte back up to Heubützlipass, around Fahnenstock and through the Muotatal, then over Foopass and down through Raminer Matt to Elm. The entire original stage, including its full village finish, is retained. The alternative Trinser Furgga and Calfeisenpass routes are separate and have not been spliced into the stage. This is one complete independent day stage; the original 6-stage trek is not complete here.

The Sardonahütte operator says the hut is closed after summer 2026. No current staffed, winter-room or overnight availability is inferred. The Trinser Furgga path is no longer maintained because of rockfall; the newly blue-white marked Calfeisenpass alternative is a distinct alpine route and is not part of this stage. The official stage follows steep slopes, rocky ridge sections and a long descent; snow, weather and current passage remain unconfirmed. The current official stage has no detour identifiers; this does not establish open or safe passage. Automatic planning, GPX export and navigation handoff remain held. Source read 2026-10-29.

Recommendation & sources

A recommendation for the whole outing is kept with that itinerary. Only separately reviewed, precisely matched path stretches receive map support. Repeated descriptions from one publisher family add no independent votes.
