Make it your trip

Choose your nights

Nine official stages from Port d'Andratx to Port de Pollença. From Deià onwards every stage ends at a Consell refuge; the western stages end in villages. Book the refuges first, then fit the stages to your days.

Port d'Andratx to Esporles

The western stages end in villages rather than refuges; the Coma d'en Vidal refuge near Estellencs is booked by phone. Stage 2 is long: the Consell times it at 8 h 40.

Plan this journey

Esporles to Pollença, refuge to refuge

Every night at a Consell refuge: Can Boi, Muleta, Tossals Verds, Son Amer and Pont Romà. Book them first; the online portal takes bookings 2 to 120 days ahead, up to three nights per stay.

Plan this journey

Deià to Lluc

Three days through the high Tramuntana, with nights at Muleta, Tossals Verds and Son Amer. Deià is on the Palma bus; Lluc has buses towards Inca and, in summer, along the coast.

Snow at the high point is estimated with a simple snowpack model from these temperatures and precipitation, not observed; steep islands and high summits can hold more snow than it shows. About this map

The map follows the OpenStreetMap relations of the GR 221, cut at the nine stage ends the Consell de Mallorca publishes. It measures 148.3 km; the Consell's stage pages add up to 148.4 km. In Sant Elm, about 1.2 km of village streets joins stages 1 and 2; those streets are not part of the mapped route. Refuge pages and OpenStreetMap still use an older eight-stage numbering.

Official guidance and mapped-source comparison checked 18 September 2026. Map data is a route reference, not confirmation of today's path, weather or accommodation availability.
